My So Called Junky Life Bead Swap Extravaganza 2010

It’s arrived! My package of beads from my swap partner, Terri, was delivered today and I’m so excited about it! Naturally, I had to share it with you ~ are you ready?

When I opened the box I found this lovely package wrapped in tissue paper. The handmade gift tag has the sweetest little bird’s nest (literally) on it! When I actually unwrapped the package I could hardly believe it ~

Yes, she made this herself! She’s quite the accomplished mixed media artist ~ and jewelry, too? I’m SO jealous of her talents! Now, for the piece de resistance ~

I’m not kidding when I tell you that I was totally flabbergasted to see these beauties!  Now that some of the glow has worn off, I realize that I HAVE TO MAKE SOMETHING ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS and then POST PHOTOS OF IT ON MY BLOG FOR ALL TO SEE! (Them’s the rules!) I only hope I can create something worthy of the gift giver’s kindness and generosity. Thank you, Terri!
