Gypsy Brocante’s Rosette Swap Reveal

It’s here ~ the day we reveal who our rosette swap partner was and what they sent us as part of this fun rosette swap! Our partner’s identity was a secret until we received their package in the mail….(we sent to someone else, and so on).  I was lucky enough to get Tobi Britton of The Pink Pixie Forest  as my “secret swapper.” Boy, was I lucky! Did I say I was lucky? Take a look.

Ok, is she talented or what? She actually decorated an antique brass hair brush with a beautiful satin rosette and vintage bling ~ are you feeling my joy? Thought so.  And it looks fabulous on my pink Depression Glass plate where it fits in nicely with other little lovelies from my jewelry stash.

Vintage rhinestones, pearls and a romantic delicate bird charm ~ it really takes my breath away. And she threw in a second rosette for good measure, too!

Spooky Monday

I'm so excited to share with you some more Halloween/Fall/Spooky stuff as part of Wendy's Adventures in Wonderland's Spooky Monday.  This will be a mash-up of some things that remind me of this time of year.

Sample Boo Packages

Have you ever been "Boo"-ed?  This is something we love to do each year.  You pack up some Halloween goodies and anonymously drop them off at three neighbors' doors with a note that says "You've been Boo-ed!"  Then it's THEIR turn to do the same for  another three unsuspecting families. I first learned of this in 2007 from Cindy at Skip to my Lou.  You can download her Boo Sign (shown above) by going here.  You can fill the packages with candy and small toys, etc. and GUESS WHAT?  Target even started selling PRE-MADE BOO BAGS.  How simple is that?

Here is just one of the many animated Halloween spoookies we place in our yard each year (or should I say "my husband" places in our yard each year?! lol)

We always get lots of pumpkins ~ carving them is quite a production!  How great are the leaves?  I can almost feel the crispness in the air!

Playboy Bunny

Hi all, Just a quick post for my Playboy Bunny NOTD, love my nails, and the length of it right now, I have so many plates I want to use.. Some of which are still unused and I haven't had the chance to use them. I think I should try to manage and do a nail art plate schedule so that I can use them.. :)

Anyway, I used massini slammin'red as a base coat, this is the most gorgeous and I should say bling bling nail polish that I have, the color really suits my skin tone and I like the holo glitters on it, thanks thriszha for this, I used playboy fauxnad i.p, b104 and b34 star design, I used white and lightpink special polish for stamping and tfs top coat..

Taste of Victory

Hello my Sweet Nail-Art Lovers
I call this manicure Taste of victory because it seems like we won.... Long story short is that Diana from Painted Lady Fingers have notified me that someone stole my header and all the content of my blog together with hers and some other fellow bloggers.
We collectively contacted blogger team and it seems like they just turned down a scam blog.
Oh, gosh that feels good to know that blogger team is on our side and help protect our blogging initiative copyrights.
So this is the manicure to celebrate our little victory.
My only hope is that scam blog will stay down from now on.

This is my right hand, to eb honest i like this one even better :)

Call of the wild

Hey Yall! This is the latest design I did on my own nails. This design was inspired by sickest nails. I would like to say that she is my absolute favorite nail art guru on youtube. Her designs are outstanding!

For this design I used hop pink and dark purple fine glitter mixed with chunky holographic glitter. I also used hopt pink & purple nail art paint and swarovski crystals.
